Cy and Nick Harper had a fantastic adventure in November, touring around the U.S. Many thanks to all of the great people who came out and said hello. Look for some more collaborations in 2010. Europe perhaps??! Meanwhile, Cy is working with The Fixx to put the finishing touches on the new album and Nick is completing his own record.

Having just wrapped up some splendid dates with The Fixx, Cy is putting on his solo artist hat for a bit now, getting ready to hit the road this November in the U.S. Along for the adventure is his great pal from Love Hope Strength Foundation and a fantastic performer in his own right, Nick Harper.

Cy is currently putting the final touches on a schedule of dates for a tour in November.

Can’t wait that long? Well, if you live on the East Coast you will have 4 opportunities to see Cy, joined by his great pal and an amazing performer in his own right, Nick Harper. Below you’ll find some information and links where you can purchase tickets to the shows. Do come and bring your friends. Can’t make it? Please tell your friends anyway. You know they will be very impressed with your musical guidance afterward!

The excitement begins with a fund raising event in Philadelphia to benefit the Love Hope Strength Foundation. VIP and General Admission tickets are offered.

Thursday, September 10th - Philly Rocks

The next night Cy and Nick will be entertaining the awesome folks at the Club Cafe in Pittsburgh. Tired of burning the midnight oil? This is an early show - 7pm.

Friday, September 11th - Club Cafe

Saturday is the Union County Music Fest in New Jersey which promises to be a fantastic day of song and also features a terrific fundraising walk for LHSF. Cy is scheduled to hit the stage at Noon. Nick will be on in the afternoon, but we don’t have specific time yet. Oh, and the MusicFest is FREE. Check it out!

Saturday, September 12th - Union County MusicFest

And just announced, Cy and Nick will be bringing an acoustic set to New York City at Ulysses’ Folk House on Sunday, September 13th. Not sure what time they take the stage yet. It’s New York.

Cy Signs With Hypertension Music

Recently, Cy signed a deal with EU-based Hypertension Music to distribute his music and promote his work throughout Europe. Hypertension is a great company that also works with artists like Midge Ure, Joan Armatrading, and Fleetwood Mac. In October, Solar Minimum will be released on their label and marketed digitally and physically. For this release, the CD will have a new look and be housed in a jewel case. Keep an eye on this space for more information on this new endeavor and where you can pick up one of these newly packaged copies of Solar Minimum.
