It’s a brilliant charity. Cancer treatment centers. Bone marrow matching. Life-changing stuff. LHSF is near and dear to Cy’s heart, as you know. So recently, The Fixx donated a song, “Moving Mountains,” to help raise money for the Love Hope Strength Foundation to support their good works. The song, the first new music release from the band in a few years, was produced and mixed by Nick Jackson. You can download this new song from the LHSF store.
As many of you know, Cy is a great supporter of the Love Hope Strength Foundation. He loves the people, the events and the dedication of this music-centric cancer charity. Love Hope Strength VIP Kickoff Event (Dallas, TX)
Thursday, May 26th 6:00 - 11:00pm
Hosted by friends of LHSF, this VIP Kick-Off event will harness the compassionate energy of Dallas’ social, sports and business sectors in the Love Hope Strength style. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Love Hope Strength Foundation’s Global Fund that provides people around the world with access to treatment and cures, including access to life saving bone marrow donors. Direct proceeds from this event will support the ongoing growth of the Children’s Cancer Center in Tanzania and the establishment of the very first bone marrow registry in Nigeria.
Cy will be joined by fellow LHSF trek veteran Miles Zuniga (of Fastball) for an evening of music. There’s a theme - 80’s Chic (hey, Cy is chic in any decade!).
The event is taking place in the home of host, Dr. Michael Rimlawi, and promises intimate and engaging performances.
